  8. Olive oil – oleocanthal, the compound in olive oil, has anti-inflammatory properties comparable to ibuprofen;
  9. Combination of Vitamin C, Ginkgo biloba, and Astaxanthin – this combination is even more powerful than ibuprofen in reducing respiratory inflammation caused by asthma (animal study from 2011);
  10. Anthocyanin from Raspberries and Sweet Cherries – it’s equally effective in suppressing inflammation-associated enzyme known as cyclooxygenase-1 and -2 as naproxen and ibuprofen (a study from 2001).

Also, when it seemed like aspartame will be ratified later on for use in carbonated drinks, the National Soft Drink Association disagreed with this act, claiming that it wouldn’t be safe for people because aspartame is very unsteady when in liquid form and decomposes into formaldehyde, amidst other things.

I checked the site( and I saw a pretty large list of “experts”, who are a tool for backing up claims that aspartame is safe, including the Calorie Control Council. As a matter of fact, the Calorie Control Center possesses the Aspartame Information Center site, and you can also read on the bottom that it is listed as a copyright holder.

The Aspartame Resource Center promotes all kinds of “fact” lists that you can download, especially the one called “Straight Answers about Aspartame.” This list is created by the American Dietetic Association and the Calorie Control Council. At the bottom of the fact list you can see that it has been sponsored by The fact is that the Aspartame Information Center, the Aspartame Resource Center and Ajinomoto are all the same and are considered as the biggest producers of aspartame worldwide.

There is a question- who owns the Calorie Control Council? In its site you can read that the Calorie Control Council is founded in 1966 and it stand for 60 producers and suppliers of low-calorie, low-fat and light foods and drinks, where more than 10 different producers and suppliers of dietary sweeteners are included.
